Camargue (March 2017)

The idea of seeing Flamingos in the South of France is completely captivating.  The reality is really something special.  A big thanks goes out for the recommendation, you know who you are.

Flamingos can be found in small numbers around Carmague, but if you want a real treat, visit Parc Ornithologique Du Pont-Du-Gau and for €8.50, you can see them in much larger numbers. Shortly after I arrived, they started to feed the flamingos.  Watching them run towards the latest source of food, flying in their aerobatic displays, or watching them land like ballerinas was amazing. All it needed was Dance of the Cygnets playing in the background and it would have been perfect.

Words simply cannot explain the images of these Flamingos, so I will let the pictures do the talking.
